![]() Unlike the first time Goku used Ultra Instinct Omen against Jiren, Goku was fully conscious when he turned Mastered Ultra Instinct considering the fact that he was conversing with Jiren during the course of battle. The same also applied to Jiren considering it was only after him getting overwhelmed by Goku, he managed to awaken his hidden power. Considering Goku needs to be pushed to the edge to activate his Limit Breaking Power, the same would apply to Vegeta. Super Saiyan Blue Evolution would be Vegeta's limit breaking power(Based on comments made in Episode 123 by the Grand Priest and Universe 7 spectators). Ultra Instinct was referred to as Goku's limit breaking power. So it would only make sense for Vegeta to fight at full power right off the bat considering even he knows Ultra Instinct Goku is incredibly strong after witnessing his fight against Jiren. He turned SSJB right off the bat against Weakened Golden Freiza, Hit, Goku Black, Jiren, Toppo(First Fight). Vegeta unlike Goku, doesn't like to fool around with an opponent(Who he knows is strong) and goes all out.Considering Vegeta expected Goku to use Ultra Instinct, we don't see him transforming into that form. When Vegeta and Goku fought at the end, they both turned Super Saiyan Blue. All fighters will be pushed to their limits to decide the fate of their own universe. We don't know the definite answer with regard to the same but I personally believe he can't and this is my argument With 8 minutes left in the Tournament of Power (possibly 8 episodes), and only 8 fighters out of 80 remaining, we close to it’s dramatic end. Could it be that Vegeta reaches Super Saiyan Blue 2? It’s the only thing that makes sense and would fit his more aggressive fighting style while Ultra Instict fits Goku’s technical and defensive style. Many have theorized that Vegeta attains Ultra Instict as well, but Goku’s description wouldn’t match that. Vegeta eventually stands up and awakens a new type of form which Goku describes as “an amazing power beyond Super Saiyan Blue.” We also get a quick shot of Goku in SS Blue Kaioken and Vegeta in SS Blue but almost fully healed. Goku and Jiren continue their bout and Goku appears to make a mistake during battle. The preview for Episode 123 gives a good look at what to expect next. The last we see Vegeta is near motionless with his eyes wide open after the massive attack he just sustained. Despite a direct hit, Jiren catches Vegeta off guard and unleashes an attack that nearly kills Vegeta. A quick taunt provokes Vegeta to increase his energy for a massive Final Flash. Jiren then overwhelms Vegeta, nearly eliminating him. At first Vegeta seemed to stuggle with Jiren, he eventually surprised Jiren by landing two clean hits. With Goku seemingly on par with Jiren since their last battle, and attaining Ultra Instinct, Vegeta challenges Jiren’s strength. Round 2 of Goku vs Jiren has begun with Vegeta disrupting their match. The toughest opponent being Jiren who appears to be unbeatable. Though Universe 7 has the numbers, Universe 11 has proven to be a formidable foe. Universe 11 is left with Dyspo, Toppo and Jiren, the last of the Pride Troopers. Left in Universe 7 are Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Gohan and Android 17. A lot has happened these past few months, and the last two remaining teams are Universe 7 and Universe 11. Dragon Ball Super has returned from it’s short break, and we’re heading to the last few minutes left in the Tournament of Power. ![]()
